COST MANAGER

We are now seeking an exceptional Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our team based within our Bucharest Office.

Responsibilities

  • Handles the bidding process for subcontractors
  • Participates in the preparation of the documentation for the bidding
  • Prepares the budget of the project
  • Attends interviews with subcontractors
  • Handles the cost management, as well as the cost estimates
  • Manages the contracts with subcontractors
  • Monitors the budget and controls the costs allocated to the project
  • Deals with cost deviations or any changes that affect the budget
  • Along with senior project managers, evaluates any potential changes or risks and also identifies sources and ways to increase the costs
  • Reports on a monthly basis the evolution of costs and expenses
  • Negotiates and agrees the final cost of the project
