MEP ENGINEER

We are now seeking an exceptional Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join our team based within our Bucharest Office.

Responsibilities

  • Understands in-depth the documents of the project (technical drawings, sketches, specifications), how the types of installations and systems (mechanical, electrical, sanitary) interconnect, the specifications of each stage of the project
  • Facilitates the finding solutions if problems/conflicts arise between subcontractors during the project
  • Validates potential design issues related to MEP and proposes solutions
  • Evaluates the proposals related to the MEP systems
  • Constantly updates all MEP-related changes for the entire team and is responsible with budgeting and justifying these changes
  • Assists the installation of MEP systems
  • Coordinates monitors and controls the activities of the MEP activities of the subcontractors
  • Coordinates and manages the materials and documents directly linked to the MEP
  • Keeps in touch with the MEP consultants, inspectors and other relevant departments
  • Ensures that the MEP subcontractors adhere to the applicable quality standards and security standards
  • Assists in testing and contracting the MEP equipment
